About Women Allowing Themselves to be Ordained July 2007--About the woman's ordination bit--I recently wrote some material trying to warn women away from this travesty. By the way - I AM a woman and therefore people cannot say I am saying this as a male. I am saying it as a Christian. We are seeing the fulfillment of the warning given centuries ago to the last generation of rebels against God and his word.

Personally, one thing I know--if a woman allows herself to be ordained and act in that capacity--she looses the blessing of the Holy Spirit -- the Lord will not smile upon her Christian walk and trouble and weakness will come into her whole family. I have seen it!! There are few things the Lord doers not want us women to do--mostly we can do whatever is needed--preaching--teaching--counseling in the word. Even leading a ministry or directing a church if needed and no eligible male is available. BUT when it comes to ordination, leading out in ordinances or baptism--any woman doing this will have the frown of the Lord. No woman should be breaking the bread at communion or passing it out!! Us women don't need a title to serve--the title is just for pride. Ordination will mean nothing because man cannot bestow what God has forbidden. Also I do not know this woman's family situation-- if her husband is an elder then she is already in her God given place at his side in the supportive roll. If her children are at home--they--not the church are her first duty!!
My son brought up an interesting fact in protesting women elders at his
church-- a male elder, is supposed to be married and so his eldership
includes his wife. to put in a woman robs the church. The MAN is to be the
head of the family--and so how can a woman elder have her proper place
either in the church OR in her home?? If the husband is an elder--she is
already where God wants her--if not --then WHO is the HEAD of the home??
The Any woman who allows herself to be ordained an elder or pastor will be under the frown of God. I know it --God warned me of it myself. No assurance of the minister will change wrong into right!! In my experience I also find that a woman that is being tempted to get into inappropriate mission work or church work nearly always has a BIG LOAD at home and the devil is doing that to tempt her to leave the home duties for the flashy 'more important' church work. It is the devil's way of destroying homes!! I read with concern and interest not long ago, the whole account of the leadership got the ball rolling with this woman's ordination bit. As you know it has NEVER been ratified by the official GC delegates in session and so any church doing it is in defiance of the wishes of the true and only GC--the world delegates in session. God cannot bless this!! The whole thing has been a series of sneak attacks, dishonesty and plotting. The session where they brought women in to discuss it first was done by taking a group of influential women to a fancy resort--where they were basically entertained and then at the end they were told that two separate bills HAD to be voted in as one. This was NOT true but these poor women--away from their husband's sides -- were tricked into doing that. The whole thing is, that they had not business voting or being consulted on it--and leadership had no business asking them or doing it!! Satan -- NOT God is behind all this deviousness. No blessing but a curse is there for any woman gullible enough to get sucked into it!! God is not behind this thing and there is only two sides-- any woman doing this will change leaders and NOT KNOW IT! Any church doing this brings upon them the frown of God --- any church member agreeing to this does likewise. I am an associate director of a ministry -- I serve freely everywhere needed. BUT ordination and ordinances I would NEVER touch--and if I were married--if I had children at home--even what I do now would be greatly modified. Isa 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: 14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. 15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? 16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? Another thing that is wrong among us today is having separate men's and women's 'retreats' -- this is serving to break up the family bonds and place both husband and wife in temptation's way -- setting a wrong example to children and youth and breaking down the proper authority in the home structure!! Like Eve--they retreat alright--right into Satan's waiting arms!!

ye When I was a child I grew up in my grade-school years around the campus of Oshawa where the Ontario-Quebec and the Canadian Union conferences were both situated. I honestly remember thinking and believing that those 'godly' men were all busy over in those offices reading the Bible and the SOP and just studying away to make sure everything in the church was done just right. It has been a long process of waking up to reality to wean me from the 'arm of flesh'. I really see today that the 'church' (denominational) hierarchy of positions is actually a wall that comes between the individual and God. It is great when as brothers and sisters we stand side by side and share morsels from the heavenly banquet with one another--but the MINUTE you stick a label on someone--and call them Elder, Pastor, or director--in the modern sense of those words, you have placed a person between you and Jesus. The ONLY folk who are ever saved will be those who got hold of the one-on-one relationship with God through the Saviour and the real Holy Spirit--it is so easy to use a man-made substitute because this true relationship ONLY happens when we surrender ALL. You can put a person or a church in that place and not have to surrender much at all. Once one HAS surrendered and experienced that indwelling presence - the CLOSEST relationship that any human can know - you realize that this is heaven and it goes on forever only improving with time and deeper surrender. --then you have such a burden to help others to break from the arm of flesh and find the Eternal Arms to rest in forever! One of the folk that was sending flack for our stand on the 777 thing, said-- 'well maybe you will end up never getting the HS' - I wanted to say that I don't shop when my pantry is full--but I felt so sad for them because they see that it isn't biblical but they are afraid that if they don't go along--they might miss something-Maybe God has changed His mind since He gave us the Bible and SOP? I hope my sisters can see through the deception and have the courage to go against pride of position and choose God's way--she can have that experience with the Lord and the Holy Spirit that is more wonderful than anything -- but if she takes the carrot -- she will never know it unless she turns back with repentance and confession. I have learned the bitter, hard way--God will NOT bless what He has not commanded!!! I am a woman and write from my experience.
Hi - I would like to know where in the Bible that it teaches that God is "male/female as the pastors are preaching this from the pulpit up here and also this quarterly for July August Sept. seem to teach the same thing Also I would like to know if and where the Spirit of Prophecy teaches such doctrine. As Far as what I can find this is how "Satan is worshiped and likes to be worshiped as male/female. They use the text Matthew 23:37 to back up this faults doctrine as far as I can see it. heresy!! In ancient Israel we see the male-female god worshiped--the sun and the moon--Baal and Ashtoreth. In all spiritualism and heathen-Pagan systems we see the worship of male-female and the reproductive concept. All witchcraft is based on it. It is one of the greatest Abominations in the site of God!! It will place those who follow it in the road to destruction and there will be NO RETURN because probation is closing and Jesus soon will cast down the censer--forever!! Eze 8:17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? The Bible is very clear about it. It is not the fault of the women only but the fault originates in the men and the leaders of the families, churches and so on. This terrible state of things with the women and families is the natural outworking of the neglect of obedience to the known will of God. These selections below make that very clear. It is a curse that is brought about when men choose their own ways instead of God’s ways. It is not that God looks down as says "OK- I am going to zap you with a curse”; no it is the way things work- sort of like the ‘law’ of gravity – when people rebel and go against the will of God, especially when they KNOW that will, then everything breaks down into a hellish mess. Ho 4:12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God. 13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery. 14 I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall. Notice in this one that the leaders’ teachings are bringing about the mess—they are teaching new theology and feminism and so on. REALIZE that feminism did not begin just because of idle women—no- no! Not at all! It began as a reaction brought about by the teaching and acceptance of evolution, and spiritualism (the two HAVE to go together) in the 19th & 20th century. Now here in Romans (see below) it is clear that rebellion against God and His authority is the root cause of homosexuality and lesbianism. That is right were it is. The only cure for any of these situations is repentance on the part of men and women, and surrender and obedience to God’s will. This is not going to happen en-mass, but only in the lives of individuals and so the 2 classes become clearly established; Re 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And Pr 30:13 There is a generation, oh how lofty are their eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up. This class is destined to destruction! It is not wise to turn our resentment only onto women for the state of things in our lives—have we always followed God’s revealed and understood will? If we had—we would not have brought this mess into our families and churches. If we repent and are seeking to obey, God will have mercy and grace for us, but it behooves us to walk humbly with deep repentance and not ‘lift up the horn’ in the sight of God or others. Probation for this world is about to close--and it closes first for Adventists! Do we have characters without spot or wrinkle--are we obedient to God in ALL ways He has directed us? It's HARVESTIME and the crops are ripening fast--there is still a little time to line up and ripen as wheat--but soon all will be locked in forever! The rebellious will have the character of the first Rebel--and we see it happening! The faithful will be obedient and have the character of Jesus. Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. |
