NEW: 'Understanding Daniel & Revelation'
Book

"I have seen that
the 1843 chart was directed by the hand of the Lord, and that it should
not be altered; that the figures were as He wanted them; that His hand
was over and hid a mistake in some of the figures, so that none could
see it, until His hand was removed.
Then I saw in relation to the "daily" (Dan. 8:12) that the word
"sacrifice" was supplied by man's wisdom, and does not belong to the
text, and that the Lord gave the correct view of it to those who gave
the judgment hour cry. When union existed, before 1844, nearly all were
united on the correct view of the "daily"; but in the confusion since
1844, other views have been embraced, and darkness and confusion have
followed. Time has not been a test since 1844, and it will never again
be a test." EW 74.
There has been a departing from the correct
understanding of the Prophecies of Daniel and Revelation among Advent
Believers. Confusion has been brought in as old protestant and false
catholic interpretations have been adopted as part of the evangelical
new theology. These erroneous interpretations tear the foundations
from Adventism and emasculate the Prophetic message for our
day--making the "LOUD CRY" into a pitiful, confused whimper. There is
a NEED right now to RETURN to the TRUE PROPHETIC UNDERSTANDING of the
Pioneers AND to carry that message of Daniel & the Revelation to the
WORLD!

How this book was written:
From very early
childhood I have been fascinated by prophecy. I won an award in
grade 5 for presenting the prophecy showing the Antichrist. I read
D&R by U. Smith as a earliteen and a bit later I devoured 'The Two
Babylons' by Hislopp. I have to give this testimony that as I later
became intrigued with worldly things and esp. the world of the
occult and later on New Age stuff--There was only one thing that
acted as a safety-line holding me back from totally going into
spiritualism: what was it? My knowledge of PROPHECY and how God
wrote history in advance and gave it to us in Daniel and the
Revelation!! If I ever stand among the faithful on that shore--it
will be because of the 'more sure word of prophecy'.
A certain amount of
confusion was brought in as I read later authors who presented
material contrary to the Pioneers and tried--knowingly or not--to
rip out the foundations of the Advent Movement; but when God pulled
me from the mire and I was born anew a ransomed sinner--I returned
with eagerness to the study of the Prophetic word.
I started doing the
Daniel & Revelation slide shows for my website a few years back
and it took a long time to finish them - Then I did Daniel and
Revelation for children in
the 'TEMKIT'
papers - then Harvestime was going to do a large copy of Bible
Readings so I put the material together as an appendix to the large
Bible Readings book, and added the Sanctuary material as well. I did
the smaller book as we haven't the means to print the big one at
present. It got printed and I Pray God uses it to reach souls.

We put out the book
because of these references from EGW; You will notice if you
research her references to D&R that she was:
1. Saying there was
no other book about D&R available--so she recommended Smith's. And
it is still an excellent reference for much of the history in it.
2. She was urging
the writing of a more simple and smaller book
3. She was pleading
for deeper study into D&R but the people were content to follow
blindly U. Smith.
4. She said the
comments should be minimal and the Bible be able to speak for
itself. THIS means that she was not condoning all U. Smith's stuff
with a full recommendation, rather, 'It's a helping hand-BUT--we
need deeper study!'.
5. She said
Haskell's book did NOT meet the purpose.
6. As far as I know
NO-ONE has ever done what she said--and we at Harvestime felt we
HAD to do it and God made a miracle and it got printed!!
"The books of Daniel
and the Revelation should be bound together and published. A few
explanations of certain portions might be added, but I am not sure
that these would be needed.
"This is the suggestion that I made to Elder Haskell
which resulted in the book he published. The need is not filled by
this book. It was my idea to have the two books bound
together, Revelation following Daniel, as giving fuller light on the
subjects dealt with in Daniel. The object is to bring these books
together, showing that they both relate to the same subjects." PM 98.
"We do not dwell
sufficiently upon the Revelation and the book of Daniel. These books
should be published together in pamphlet form, with a few explanations
added, and they should be circulated everywhere. The words of
inspiration will do their appointed work; for the Holy Spirit will
impress hearts in regard to the prophecies given.
"In this pamphlet it should be made plain that a revelation is not a
mystery which cannot be understood, but rather a mystery revealed.
These two books may be prepared for publication in a pamphlet bound
inexpensively, costing but a trifle, and small enough to be carried in
the pocket. Printed together, the books of Daniel and the Revelation
will speak to the people and tell their own story." 18MR 178
Our book is not
actually a pamphlet--but we made it a small as we could and get the
important material in there--enough for someone who knows NOTHING
about the Bible--to understand. May God bless this poor effort to OBEY
the prophetic counsel!!
"The book of Revelation opens with an injunction
to us to understand the instruction that it contains. "Blessed is he
that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy," God
declares, "and keep those things which are written therein: for the time
is at hand." When we as a people understand what this book means to
us, there will be seen among us a great revival. We do not
understand fully the lessons that it teaches, notwithstanding the
injunction given us to search and study it." TM 113.

You can get it at about 65
