MANY AUTHORS

It is Temcat's purpose to provide an archive for many documents that have been written in the past by earnest and faithful Remnant Believers, who were too often derided and their carefully researched works tossed aside by those who want to hear the smooth things and the Peace and Safety messages of the 'New Theology'. Many suffered unfair persecution and disfellowship, some were even jailed by the 'brethren'! By having faithful brethren donating items or by searching these items out and making them available, we allow those whose views deserve the respect due their long experience to be heard by others and thus the command of the Lord is obeyed:  ("Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD." Leviticus 19:32) and the dead continue to speak, sounding the warnings and pointing to the old paths.

"I have had presentations regarding the deceptions that Satan is bringing in at this time. I have been instructed that we should make prominent the testimony of some of the old workers who are now dead. Let them continue to speak through their articles as found in the early numbers of our papers. These articles should now be reprinted, that there may be a living voice from the Lord's witnesses. The history of the early experiences in the message will be a power to withstand the masterly ingenuity of Satan's deceptions. This instruction has been repeated recently. I must present before the people the testimonies of Bible truth, and repeat the decided messages given years ago. I desire that my sermons given at camp meetings and in churches may live and do their appointed work." --Letter 99, 1905.

"Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken." Jeremiah 6:16, 17
